The School was established in the year 1967.The place where School is now situated previously there was a brick clin on that place.Aspiration, sacrifice, dedication of local people was responsible behind the establishment of the said school.It has got recognition on 1st January, 1967 from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.People like Md Akthar Hossain, Md Alaihim Mollah, Md Aahasan Shaikh, Mahasin SK, Md Abu Raihan, Manowar Hossain, first Headmaster of the School and other local well wishers give their sincere efforts for the establishment of the said School. The school has total teaching strength of 57 in numbers including fifty Assistant Teachers and seven Para Teachers.All the teachers are well educated and determined to their goals. As per syllabus of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education for Secondary level and as per Syllabus of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education for Higher Secondary Level. Arts stream along with Geography is offered at Higher Secondary level.
