Principal's Desk

I had long been familiar with the name ‘Purba Barasat Adarsha Bidyapeeth’ – a traditional educational institute with a golden architecture. But it was beyond my imagination that I would grace the path of the Headmaster of this school. Later when I came to know that I was going to be appointed as the Headmaster of this school, my heart was filled with joy. On the date of joining, the position of the school Headmaster (27/02/2018), I saw myself standing in front of a skyscraping five storey school. I got a heavenly feeling in my heart. After assuming the responsibility of the Headmaster of the school, a new path began with the sympathy and cooperation with all the teachers, education staff and students. I threw myself into huge work and a part of it responding to everyone’s request, I took encouragement to publish the school magazine after a gap and with everyone’s cooperation and years of tireless work, the magazine number 2023 of Purba Barasat Adarsha Bidyapeeth was published, for this I owe immense gratitude to everyone. In this context I would like to express my gratitude to those who have started various activities of the school since it’s inception. I remember with respect all this individuals, various institutions and local people who have made this educational institute an incomparable contribution to the highest level as a result our school became well known not only in Barasat or North 24 Parganas but in West Bengal. School magazine gives a clear and overall idea about the school at a glance. This magazine is called the ‘face of the school’ because it is the introductory personality of the school. A living historical document of the school’s progress is the school magazine that informs the next generation of the school’s heritage. The mental development, knowledge, and creativity of  the students can be seen from the school magazine composed of stories, poems, essays, etc. written by everyone, fills everyone’s mind with an unending joy. There is no unhealthy evaluation, competition, the inhuman pressure to build the future. This Vidyalaya Patrika and this year’s publication in Navarup and Kalebar, the students of the school have achieved impressive feats. Government of West Bengal has honored and awarded 8 students in Secondary Examination 2021. Government of West Bengal has honored and awarded two students in 2020 for the extraordinary results. Many students of the school has also passed the joint entrance examination of doctor and engineering with special status and increased the status of the school. An integral part of the school is the vocational branch, a proud chapter of this school, every year the students in this branch have made the school proud y showing extraordinary results in their specific fields and behind all this is the restless effort and dedication of the teaching stuff of this school. The combination of talent and passion of the students, judging the quality of this school, the West Bengal Madhya Shiksha Parshad has given the school ‘A’ grade status which is a matter of pride for all of us, the school management committee has dedicated interest efforts in creating the learning environment of the school. The school has physical training and various activities to match the physical and intellectual development of the students. Our school is playing a leading role in organizing sports, cultural competitions and participating in competitive sports. And the result of which recently we won the championship in Subrata Cup 2023 under-14 boys in district level and participating in cluster level. We also participated in Reliance Cup cracking Runners up position and also in Mayors Cup. As a total Purba Barasat Adarsha Bidyapeeth emerged as a whole in every aspect of our life and hope we will also be successful in our future endeavors and hope for a better future.
